Xiaoyu is a 16 year-old who loves amusement parks. Her role in Tekken 6 is equal to the storyline Jun inTekken 2. However, in subsequent games of the series, Xiaoyu more focused on Mishima family's issues, in particular on Jin Kazama. Her main goal throughout most of the series is to, through fighting in the tournaments, win so she can earn enough money to build her own amusement or theme park. Xiaoyu's fighting style was brought on with some influence from her master, Wang Jinrei.
